Dozens of new conferences have been booked into Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre during the coronavirus lockdown, according to the venue’s general manager. Ross Steele said 67 newly contracted events were a 30 per cent increase on the number of bookings announced at the end of 2019 – and were projected to bring NZ$40m to the city. |
